For a baby who lives near the ocean, Derek is sure old for having never seen or touched it! We met up with Jodie, Kerry, Jason, & Jenny for some relaxing times hanging at Spanish Beach. Mostly it was chatting and eating, but then Jodie and I decided that Derek needed to meet the ocean.
The tide was most definitely OUT, so we had to walk pretty far out in the mud to reach the ocean.
Then we let him play in the mud for a while
Let’s all pretend I’m a really awesome parent and call this “sensory play”
