Whistler & The Vancouver Aquarium

We went to Whistler this weekend and stayed at our friend Jodie’s parents’ cabin. It’s nice to have friends with nice parents. We ate and drank far too much, and baby Derek was spoiled for attention. All in all, a good weekend.

On Sunday night, we made a decision that was great for us but not so hot for the blog. We started watching Game of Thrones. OMIGOD AMAZING EDGE OF MY SEAT DYING OMIGOD.

Don’t ruin anything for me – we’re only halfway through the first season, but yeah, that’s been our evenings.

Today, Aidan and I met to take the babies to the Vancouver Aquarium.

Babies are fascinated by the fish.

Aidan and I were both enamoured with the harbour porpoise, who was SO cute and playful.

Butterfly landed on Derek’s stroller. He is not impressed.

When we were done with the aquarium, we came back to my place and let the babies play. Derek is a bit bigger than Matthew.

But they’re still baby buddies.

We had some chili, then Aidan left and Jodie came over to work on a secret project, and everyone is gone and Mike and I are going to watch the next Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones.

GAME. OF. THRONES.

I’m so glad you’re watching GoT. I’ve just finished season two and I’m already wanting to watch the whole thing over again. I’ve seen season one twice already. It’s amazing. I’m completely in love with it. And right now I can’t get enough of the book either.
