Do babies have brain growth spurts? Because seriously, the last week has been HUGE for Derek.
First, the early attempts at crawling.
Secondly, he has started holding his arms up to indicate he wants to be picked up.
AND TODAY HE SAID A WORD!
He was sitting in his high chair eating a baby cracker and watching me cook. He was really enjoying his baby cookie, so I said “Mmm, that’s good”. He looked right back at me and said “dood”.
HOLY HELL! STAY A BABY, DEREK! I AM NOT READY FOR THIS!
