And boy is he getting FUN!
For starters, he’s decided that now is time for solid food. He did this by grabbing a celery stick off of the table on Saturday and chowing down. He’s all “Screw purees. I have teeth now, and I’m gonna murder this celery.” And he did. We tried chicken at Mike’s mom’s yesterday. He is.. not a fan. I think I am going to start with some nice rice cereal this week.
He can sit unassisted for minutes at a time. I still sit behind him as he hasn’t figured out what to do if he face plants on the floor. He just kind of lays there and screams until I fix it. It’s pretty stupid.
He really has a lot to say and chats me up all day. Nothing really intelligible (except one morning, it totally sounded like he said “Hello”. Probably coincidence.
His latest trick though, is singing. I managed to catch him on video (he tends to get a little camera shy). Excuse me singing the dorky song I made up for him in the beginning – he likes it if we take turns singing.
